Objective

Aims

The organization aims to empower the economically weaker and socially marginalized section of the society through capacity building of the people. Beside this, it is working with various NGOs, Governmental organizations, the group felt that rural development in All Over Kolkata as well as All over West Bengal need a different approach, i.e., professional and scientific approach rather than conventional approach to take up the challenges of state for its overall development. In fact, the voluntary and non-professional way of working has created innumerable problems in long run, which hamper the real growth after lots of financial and physical investment. Therefore, the group has initiated this institution with a belief of “Participatory Development Process” which will be sustainable in a long way. As far as the legal status of Muraripukur Sister Nivedita Foundation is concerned, it is a legally constituted voluntary organization having registered under the Certificate of Registration of Societies West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961 and thereof. It works on No Profit – No Loss basis. It is also entitled to receive donation / contribution within West Bengal, India and Affiliated by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kolkata (North), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, Rights of the Person with Disability Act, 2016, Government of West Bengal.
